Amazon has presented a new gadget, which can show the way, how to replace printed newspaper or paperback. Amazon Kindle has electronic-paper display, and it utilizes same high-speed data network (EVDO) as cell phones to download content. OK, the thing is kind of a butt ugly brick, but we remember how were the first mobile phones like. 🙂
If this can replace daily, disposable, thick and heavy printed newspaper, it will be good news for forests of the world. Paper can be used for books and other sustainable products. And Kindle may not replace paper in toilet too so far…
